Kemah Boardwalk

Main attraction in Greater Houston Area

November 20, 2006

The Kemah Boardwalk is 35 acres of entertainment. With the recent loss of Six Flags Astro World, this miniature amusement park is on the rise to being one of the Greater Houston area’s main attractions. It was founded by Landry’s, which still stands, and is host to ten other delicious restaurants.

Aside from the classic Carousel, Ferris wheel, and park encompassing train ride, there are 7 other unique thriller rides and a few kiddy rides. After a long day of playing and eating, you can spend the night at the hotel with balcony views overlooking the park.

The Kemah Boardwalk has jump-started Kemah’s economy. Kemah was, and for the most part still is a small fishing and boating city. Its attractiveness has led to new housing developments ranging from the 140s-200s and has already expanded the population to just about 3,000. It is now in the ranks for the fastest growing resort communities in Texas. If you were interested in purchasing a home, now is the time! Ryan Loofboro is very excited about this area, and can help you find the perfect home.
